Recap of ISEC Conference 2026

Interviews for the ORF (Public Austrian Broadcasting), showing many interested participants what CreaSolv® plastics-recycling is all about as well as discussing current challenges and possible solutions for a sustainable future of energy.

The ISEC is an international conference for sustainable energy, with a special focus on renewable heating and cooling in integrated urban and industrial energy systems. It is also an important event for the circular economy in Austria – and GAW technologies was one of the sponsors.

The high-level forum connects research insights with real-world needs and accelerates scalable deployment. Quoting the conference chairs Christian Fink and Christoph Brunner (AEE INTEC): “In a time shaped by climate urgency and geopolitical tensions, the central question remains: How can we strengthen energy sovereignty and resilience within the limited time horizon defined by climate change and political realities?”

Alexander Rinderhofer and Sigrid Tertinegg from GAW as well as Roman Klug from AutomationX joined more than 500 participants from all over the world that contributed their newest findings, innovations and demonstrations toward a sustainable energy future. 💡
