We support the advancement of circularity of plastics!

This is why GAW technologies GmbH has joined Plastics Recyclers Europe, an organization representing the voice of European plastics recyclers, who reprocess plastic waste into high-quality material destined for the production of new articles.

Recyclers are important facilitators of the circularity of plastics and the transition towards the circular economy. The plastics recycling industry in Europe represents over €8.6 billion in turnover, 13.5 million tonnes of installed recycling capacity, around 850 recycling facilities, and around 30,000 employees. 🌍 

GAW is proud to also contribute to a more sustainable future – for example with our award-winning CreaSolv® plastics recycling process. 🧪

This process unlocks value from the unrecyclable: 🚮 It transforms mixed, contaminated post-consumer plastic packaging waste into near-virgin quality polymers through selective dissolution – enabling true circularity where conventional recycling reaches its limits. CreaSolv® keeps the polymer intact while precisely separating and purifying it by the appropriate choice of solvents – a molecular fine-washing process that delivers high-quality recyclates without compromising performance.

This results in a substantially lower carbon footprint by significantly reducing CO₂ emissions, as well as a higher impact by delivering high-performance recycling.
