GAW sponsors the Alpentour Trophy 2026

Beat the heat and climb the mountain!

The Alpentour Trophy (the longest-running mountain bike stage race in the world) had a truly hot 27th edition this year in the Schladming Dachstein region in Styria/Austria.

GAW technologies is one of the sponsors of this adventure sporting event, which is located in a truly amazing and beautiful landscape. Professionals as well as amateurs and hobby bikers take part in this race. This year more than 400 athletes from 28 countries rode up and down an over 200-kilometer route and mastered 8,500 meters of altitude. 💪

With really high temperatures on all competition days, Tanja Priller (in the GAW jersey) from Germany took the overall victory in the women's pros category, while in the men's category it was from Jakob Hartmann (also from Germany).

Once again the popular City Sprint for children returned in the schedule: great (and sometimes also incredibly adorable 😍) athletes of tomorrow who whizzed through Schladming's city center on their tricycles, children's bikes and mountain bikes and had a lot of fun. As a reward they all received ice cream after the race 🍦 - a pleasant cooling at the tropical temperatures!
