The gathering of the paper industry in Graz was once again an event full of highlights and great conversations.

All conference days were filled with key notes and technical presentations, for example from GAW in the TECHNOLOGY FORUM 3 / PACKAGING, where Christian Makari presented insights into the award-winning plastics recycling process CreaSolv®. ♻️
Perfectly matching this year’s theme “Circular by design. Competitive by nature. Today’s innovations for tomorrow.”

The FUTURE FORUM from Austropapier with the network event of Women4PaperIndustry was also very well received. “Diversity as principle” and an inspiring key-note about Change Leadership as well as a panel discussion with perspectives from the industry built the frame to the following networking.

Like in the previous years, the events during the evenings offered stunning views above the rooftops of the city as well as countless great conversations with friends, existing and hopefully new customers about the latest trends and developments.

The GAW team (as seen in the picture from left to right: Wolfgang Schmölzer, Ewald Harrer, Christian Makari, Sigrid Tertinegg, Christina Leitner und Martin Steffl) would like to thank all visitors that stopped by our stand for the numerous interesting discussions, questions and your general interest. 🙏

Especially our demonstrator unit including a process control system by AutomationX attracted large attention. ⚙️

We also visited the next generation of paper technologists from APV Activitas at their stand. GAW is a long-time sponsoring partner, supporting the students to fund their excursions and learning travels to various paper mills.
