Behind the scenes: Did you know that GAW offers many different career opportunities for young employees?

A good example is the career path of Stephan Weber: He started in 2003 with an apprenticeship as technical draughtsman, followed by a training as foreman/work master and the high school diploma. Next to working as a designer in the CAD-department of GAW, Stephan began his education as industrial technician and 2013 he earned his diploma. After that he started in his current assignment as a project manager.

Stephan about some of his personal highlights: 
“Basically every single project is something special for me. However, I have fond memories of the projects in Taiwan in 2015, 2018 and 2020 as well as the projects in Pakistan in 2017, 2018, 2021 and 2023. That's because if you're allowed to manage multiple projects with almost always the same people on the customer´s side, you can build up a very good business basis. This basis helps enormously to understand the exact needs and possibly also specific features of the customer and to implement them quickly. Of course, traveling to different countries is always a highlight and it is a pleasure for me to be able to interact directly with the local people.”
 
In his private life he spends his free time with his family and is also a passionate runner, biker and he coaches a junior soccer team.

GAW is very proud of its young team members who develop their skills in technology and leadership and prosper to long-term employees.
