Crocodile Trophy (MTB stage race) sponsored by GAW
In November 2022 the spectacular mountain bike stage race Crocodile Trophy in Queensland/Australia celebrated its comeback after the Covid-compulsory break with the 26th edition.
GAW technologies GmbH was one of the sponsors of this sport event that is called 'the hardest, longest and most adventurous MTB race on the planet'. The participants had to conquer a 730 kilometer course in 8 stages that covered 14,000 vertical meters. The 9 days included lush rainforest trails, amazing single tracks in the bushland surrounds as well as rides through river crossings and the iconic Australian Outback. The finish was set on the Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas.
Elodie Kuijper from The Netherlands (in the GAW leading jersey) and Wolfgang Krenn from Austria are the 2022 overall winners.
